Examples of topics explored in therapy may include examining past family dynamics, ways you interact with people in your life, triggers that may lead to unhealthy choices, discussing the impact of major life changes, or processing past trauma.

You are not alone. Parenting can be incredibly difficult, especially if you care for one or more children with special needs or mental health issues. But your struggles with parenting do not mean you are a bad parent. Together, we can explore new ways to understand your child’s behaviors, examine the parenting tools you tend to rely upon, and develop new tools or strategies that may be more effective.

Adolescent therapy can provide a safe space for your teenager to develop a healthy relationship with an adult. In my many years of experience, I have cultivated effective ways to connect with teenagers that are genuine, fosters trust, and allows them to feel heard.
